The Junction is a confidential service.
That means that if you want to discuss something with one of our workers they will keep it private and not tell anyone about you or your problem, or even that you came in to the Junction.
Only in exceptional circumstances workers cannot maintain confidentiality.
Exceptional circumstances are:
- if the young person is thought to be at risk of harm;
- if the young person is threatening to harm themselves or another individual.
We have young people’s best interests at heart.
We have a responsibility to keep them safe.
